Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully. They are a contract between you and ReadyVisaPhoto ("ReadyVisaPhoto", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of readyvisaphoto.com (the "Site") and the photo-checking and photo-formatting service offered there (the "Service").

By uploading a photo, paying for a file, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What ReadyVisaPhoto is — and is not

ReadyVisaPhoto is an independent, private service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government, embassy, consulate, visa center, or official application system — including (without limitation) the U.S. Department of State, the Schengen area member states, the Government of China, or the Government of India. Any official rules, names, or links we reference belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what we check against.

We do not file, submit, or lodge any application on your behalf. We do not issue, approve, or influence visas, passports, or any government document. Every official application, fee, and decision is handled directly by you and the relevant authority.

2. What you are buying

The Service lets you:

  • Upload a photo and receive a free automated report that checks it against a published photo specification for the application you select; and
  • If the photo passes, buy a single formatted image file — cropped, sized, and background-adjusted to that specification — for $4.99 (or the price shown at checkout).

You are buying a digital image file only. You are not buying a guarantee of any outcome, a submission service, legal advice, or immigration advice.

3. No guarantee of acceptance

We do our best to format your photo to the specification we check against. However:

  • Acceptance of any photo is at the sole discretion of the receiving authority (the embassy, consulate, government portal, agent, or officer reviewing your application). Standards, equipment, and reviewer judgment vary, and can change without notice.
  • We do not and cannot guarantee that a photo we format will be accepted, that your application will succeed, or that you will not be asked for a different photo.
  • Automated checks have limits. A "pass" means the photo met the measurable rules we test — not that it is guaranteed compliant with every requirement or with a human reviewer's interpretation.

If a photo you bought is not accepted, our responsibility is limited to the refund described in Section 6 and in our Refund Policy. We are not responsible for missed appointments, application fees, rebooking costs, travel changes, delays, or any other consequence.

4. Eligibility and your responsibilities

By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least the age of majority where you live, or you are using the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian (for example, preparing a child's photo).
  • You have the right to upload the photo you submit — you are the person in it, or you have permission from the person shown (or their parent/guardian) to upload and process it.
  • The information you give us (such as which application you are preparing for) is accurate. Choosing the wrong specification may produce a file that does not fit your actual application, and that is your responsibility.
  • You will use the file only for lawful purposes and will follow the official instructions of the authority you are applying to.

You are responsible for confirming your own application's current photo requirements with the official source before you submit. We link to the official, free requirements for each application on the Site.

5. Payment

  • Prices are shown on the Site and at checkout in U.S. dollars. The current price is $4.99 per photo file.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Your use of checkout is also subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.
  • You will only be charged if you choose to buy after a photo passes the free check.
  • Applicable taxes, if any, are handled at checkout.

6. Refunds

We offer a straightforward money-back approach: you only pay after a free check passes, and you can request a full refund of what you paid within the refund window, for any reason, without sending proof. The exact mechanism, timing, and window are described in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.

7. Your photo and your content

You keep ownership of the photo you upload and the file we produce from it.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and process your uploaded photo only for the purpose of providing the Service to you — running the checks, producing your file, delivering it to you, and handling support or refunds. This license ends when we delete the relevant files under our normal retention practices (see the Privacy Policy).

We do not sell your photos, use them to train models, add them to any stock library, or use them for advertising.

You are solely responsible for the content of any photo you upload. You must not upload a photo you do not have the right to use, or any content that is unlawful, infringing, or that depicts another person without their permission.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to break any law or to prepare fraudulent or misleading applications;
  • Upload photos of other people without their permission;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Resell, sublicense, or present the Service as your own; or
  • Circumvent security measures (such as rate limits or bot checks).

We may suspend or refuse service to protect the Service or other users.

9. Intellectual property

The Site, its design, text, graphics, logos, and software are owned by ReadyVisaPhoto or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not give you any right to our branding or code. Government specifications and official materials we reference remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties to function — for example, payment processing, analytics, bot-protection, email delivery, and (in some cases) image processing. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that automated checks are complete or accurate, or that any file will be accepted by any authority.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the file at issue (that is, $4.99 or the price you were charged).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, missed appointments, application or government fees, rebooking or travel costs, or any harm resulting from a rejected application — even if we were advised such damages were possible.

If the Service was provided to you free of charge (for example, a free photo check with no purchase), our liability to you for that use is limited to zero to the extent permitted by law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReadyVisaPhoto and its owner(s), operators, and contractors from any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your upload of content you did not have the right to submit.

14. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to make it noticeable.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the courts located in Rowland Heights, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere (for example, consumer-protection venue rights where you live).

ReadyVisaPhoto is an independent service and is not affiliated with any government or official body. We sell a checked, correctly formatted photo file and do not guarantee acceptance by any authority.
